There is no other instrument worldwide like the Vietnamese Dan Bao. The coprus of the Dan Bao is nowadays made of the same like the zither Dan Tranh. The single chord is getting plucked with a plectrum ,while the same hand prdouces the overtone. The other hand modulates the tone by turning the swelling paddle at the resonating conus.
