The Sueng lute

This Sueng lute is a museum piece.

Unfortunately the tuning pegs do not work anymore, and some break wires from a bicycler are attached as chords.

Anyway, its rich ornaments remind us of the prosperity of which once was a court instrument.

Actually the Sueng will be found in Bands, electrified with pickup microphones in order to replace the rock guitar.

In former times, it was one of the few solo instruments, but also played in ensembles.
