The Gongga Lawe mouth harp

The  "Gongga Lawe"  is a mouth harp of the Mandar
poeple in Central Sulawesi.

It belongs to the mouth harps where the vibration of the
tongue is produced by pulling hard on the attached string,
while the mouth of the player is used as a resonator.

It is not easy to make this sound. If you pull too soft
there is no sound, if you pull too hard, the Gongga Lawe
might slip off your hands.
